William H. Milmoe, Co-Chairman
William H. Milmoe has been a director of our company since August 2008. From 1997 to 2006, he was CDS International Holdings, Inc.’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Mr. Milmoe is a certified public accountant with 40 years of board business experience in both public accounting and private industry. His financial career has included positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers, General Cinema Corporation, an independent bottler of Pepsi Cola products and movie exhibitor. Mr. Milmoe is a member of both the Florida and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Tim Leissner, Co-Chairman
Tim Leissner is currently Co-Chairman of Celsius Holdings, Chairman of Hong Kong-based International Sports Capital, a privately held firm focused on investing in sports franchises, a managing partner of Cuscaden Capital Limited and Nu Horizons Investment Group, LLC, family-controlled venture capital firms investing in early stage technology and entertainment companies. He is also a founding investor and director of All Def Digital, the leading Hip-Hop digital platform. Previously, Mr. Leissner was an investment banker for 23 years. He was elected a partner of Goldman Sachs in 2006 and joined the Partnership Committee in 2014. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mr. Leissner was working at J.P. Morgan and Lehman Brothers.
Celsius and Kevin Harrington are currently featured in the Palm Beach Live Work Play online magazine in an article titled Celsius Drinks Adds Harrington to Board.
Harrington has helped launch over 500 products in his career. The writer, Tim Byrd, calls him “smart and very shrewd, anybody who saw him for those first few seasons of “Shark Tank” knows that he is sharp.” The article features an interview with Harrington that discusses his recent addition on the board of directors for Celsius. Christopher Lai is an investor at Horizons Ventures, Mr. Li Ka Shing’s technology investment arm. At Horizons, Chris covers the full technology landscape and he is active in the tech-driven consumer product companies / investments. Chris serves as a director of Celsius Holdings and other Horizons portfolio companies. Prior to Horizons, Chris was a M&A banker in New York with Mooreland Partners, specialising in TMT cross-border M&A and corporate finance.
He was a key team member on numerous transactions, including Magnolia in the sale of its patent portfolio to Google; Newbay’s acquisition by RIM; and Xigo acquisition by Dimension Data. Starting in university, Chris has extensive experience working with tech and biotech startups, including a multi-target active immunotherapy biotech company and a student services e-commerce company, which he co-founded.
Chris is a graduate of Columbia University with degrees in Neuroscience, Genetics and Economics. At university, Chris was on the varsity swimming team and the New York state champion water polo team.
Hal joined AQUAhydrate as Chief Executive Officer in November, 2014 after consulting with the Company for three months. Prior to this, he most recently helped form InterContinental Beverage Capital (IBC) in 2013, a New York-based merchant bank focused on investments in the beverage and CPG industries.
Hal spent over 30 years as an officer and leader within the Coca-Cola system in almost every aspect, including general management, strategy and planning, operations, sales, marketing, business development and revenue management.
After successfully leading the integration of Glacéau into Coca-Cola North America (a division of The Coca-Cola Company), Hal became SVP, Franchise and Commercial Operations for the Glacéau division in August 2009 when additional brands (including Powerade, Fuze and the company’s energy brands) were added to the existing Glacéau brands, Vitaminwater and Smartwater.
Most recently, Hal served a dual role as Senior Vice President, Franchise and Commercial Operations for Glacéau and Director of Customer Governance in Coca-Cola North America’s Franchise Relations Group where he worked with Coca-Cola Refreshments and the 69 independent Coca-Cola Bottlers on system alignment as it relates to customer management and go-to market strategy.
Prior to these last two assignments, Hal became president of Coca-Cola North America’s original Glacéau division in July of 2008, where he ran the division while it was a free-standing business unit with the ultimate objective of integrating the unit into Coca-Cola North America’s portfolio of businesses.
Hal joined Coca-Cola Enterprises in June 2001 and was named Vice President and General Manager, Southeast Region with responsibility for managing five operating divisions with 12,000 employees and 80 facilities in the Southeastern United States. This business unit generated $2.5b in revenue and $350mm in operating profit annually.
Hal was elected as an officer and named Vice President, Business Development and Chief Revenue Officer in April of 2005. With 22 years of experience in the Coca-Cola system at this point, Hal had responsibility for revenue growth management, including business strategy and planning, pricing strategy, knowledge and insights, channel and marketing operations, and beverage category management.
Mr. Castaldo’s career spans over 30 years and has focused in consumer service businesses including chain restaurants, banking, and retailing. He has worked in a variety of organizations – public and private companies, multi-nationals and start-ups. Mr. Castaldo was President of Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, a start-up restaurant concept, for three years and currently serves as Senior Vice-President/Chief Marketing Officer, Equity Partner, and member of the Board of Directors. The company is based in Ft. Lauderdale with over 35 locations and is expanding in Florida and the Northeast.
Mr. Castaldo has also held executive positions at a number of industry-leading corporations. He was President of Pollo Tropical, a Miami-based quick casual restaurant chain. Prior to that he was Vice President of Marketing of Denny’s, Inc., America’s largest family restaurant chain and the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at S&A Restaurant Corp., which included the Bennigan’s and Steak and Ale restaurant companies.
Mr. Castaldo holds a B.S in Marketing from St. John’s University and an M.B.A from Harvard University.
Thomas E. Lynch
Thomas E. Lynch became a director of our company in November 2009. Mr. Lynch has been President of the Plastridge Insurance Agency, a local independent agency, since 1975. He has been a director of First United Bank since 2004 and on the Board of Governors Property & Casualty Insurance since February 2009. He is also on the board of many charitable organizations and he served as an elected official for several governments entities over the past 20 years. Mr. Lynch is a graduate of Loyola University in Chicago. He received his CPCU degree in 1978 from the American Institute for Property & Casualty Liability Underwriters.
