Eating on a regular basis throughout the day is key to keeping your metabolism burning. I recommend eating small meals every 3-4 hours. This way your body is constantly using the food that you eat as fuel, rather than holding on to it wondering when you are going to eat again. Today there are many healthy options available for snack time. The trick is to stop yourself from reaching for a salty and fatty snack. Instead, choose healthier options that you can keep with you at all times. Below is my favorite go-to snack. It travels easy, I do not need a refrigerator, and it helps me stay on track. On-the-Go Snack Idea
What You'll Need:
Peanut Butter packet (or approximately 2 Tablespoons)
Scoop of Protein Powder (in snack baggie)
Shaker Bottle with Water for Protein
Get an apple slicer – they're so handy. If you pre-slice your apples, a little lemon juice will keep the slices from turning brown – but just a little! If you cannot find pre-packaged peanut butter packets, put 2 Tablespoons in a snack sized air tight container.
