Celsius Sponsors New England Sand Sculpting Festival

The New England Sand Sculpting Festival brings an estimated 250,000 people to the annual event held in Revere Beach, MA. Eight master sculptors from around the country competed for a share in $18,000 and the chance to place in the prestigious contest.
Celsius was more than happy to provide some cool, calorie burning refreshment during the competition. As you can see in the photo above, the crowd really enjoyed it. Proceeds from the festival go to support the Revere Beach Partnership, which works to sustain the areas historic and natural characteristics. The revitalization is volunteer based and promotes recreational activities and awareness for America's first public beach.

Celsius Sponsors Good Sports Home Run Derby

Celsius was more than happy to sponsor the Good Sports Celebrity Home Run Derby in Lowell, MA this past weekend. Members from Various Boston sports organizations like the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Breakers joined together to raise money for the organization.
Good Sports mission is to increase youth participation in sports, fitness, and recreational programs by targeting one of major obstacles limiting participation: access to sports equipment. Since 2003 Good Sports has, provided more than $3.8 million worth of equipment and served nearly 600 youth programs which have impacted over 180,000 kids.
Competitors in the contest included Patriots Tully Banta-Cain and Christian Fauria (enjoying a pre game Celsius above), Bruins Lyndon Byers and Andy Brickley (NESN), Celtic Bill Walker, WEEI personality Mike Adams, NESN anchor desk personality Cole Wright, and the stars of the Biggest Loser reality series, Mark and Jay Kruger. New England Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski was the winner of the derby by smashing over 30 home runs.

Fresh out of People Magazine Online comes news that Katie Holmes is drinking Celsius offstage at rehearsals for her performance on Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance". The performance, scheduled to air tonight, will introduce her new charity, the Dizzy Feet Foundation, who's mission is to support, improve and increase access to dance education in the United States. We know Katie has been a fan of Celsius for quite some time, using it to stay in shape, and we're happy to see People report on it.
We're happy to help Katie get through those long rehearsals by doing more than just burning calories and sustaining energy. Celsius Reports Increased Revenue

Hot off the press release section comes some company financial news. Revenue for the second quarter increased 16.6% over the same period last year. We are very excited about this news and are looking forward to more first orders being placed in the coming months.
Celsius CEO Steve Haley will be interviewed live on the financial website InvestmentNation this coming Tuesday July 28 at 6pm EST. Steve will be discussing the progress and plans of Celsius. This will be a great opportunity for investors and to learn more about our company and vision.

Celsius Available in 7-11 Nationwide Starting Mid August

Janice Haley, co founder of Celsius was quoted in the release:
"7-Eleven represents a significant milestone for Celsius in that it adds distribution with a leader in the convenience channel, increasing the consumers’ access beyond existing channels of grocery, drug, nutritional stores, and gyms. Adding 7-Eleven is advantageous as we broaden our focus and presence on a national level. Celsius should appear with an affordable retail price for functional beverages with a suggested retail price of $1.99"

Celsius Green Tea Chosen As Finalist In 2009 CSP Retailer Choice Best New Products Contest

CSP, the leading convenience store industry publication has selected Celsius' calorie burning Raspberry Acai Green Tea to compete for their Retailer Choice Best New Product Contest. Recognizing the importance of innovative new products in the marketplace, CSP has deemed calorie burning Celsius one of the best. An honor we're glad to receive.
While voting is only open to retailers, we will be posting a link on the site when it begins July 20th. As a finalist, Celsius will be featured in the October issue of CSP magazine and we will let everyone know the results of the contest.
